What maintenance staff see in PropFlow

The maintenance role gets a short menu with just the repair tools, and no rent or tenant money details.

When you invite someone with the maintenance role, they get a simpler PropFlow made for fixing things. This page shows what they can see and do.

Their menu

  • Work orders: every repair request. The Mine tab shows only what's assigned to them.
  • Make-ready: checklists for units between tenants.
  • Recurring tasks: repeat jobs like filter changes.
  • Inspections: move-in and move-out checklists to fill in.
  • Units: each unit's info card and repair history.
  • Vendors: who to call for each kind of job.
  • Share application: a link to send to someone who wants to apply.

On a phone, the bottom bar has Work orders, Make-ready, Inspections, Units and More.

What they can do

  • Log new work orders, change status, assign, set visit times, and message tenants or leave staff-only notes.
  • Add costs with receipt photos, and add completion photos.
  • Work make-ready checklists, recurring tasks, vendors and unit info.
  • Fill in inspections the office has started. They can't start or reopen one.

They don't see rent, balances, payments, owners or accounting.

Tip: If text messages are set up, they get a text when a work order is assigned to them. In the iPhone app they can also turn on notifications under Your account.
