Pay your rent online

Pay by card, Cash App or bank account from your tenant page, if your landlord takes online payments.

1 min read

You can pay rent from your phone if your landlord has turned on online payments. If you don't see a Pay rent button, pay the office the usual way.

  1. Open your tenant page.
  2. Tap Pay rent (or Make a payment if you don't owe anything).
  3. Check the amount. Change it if your landlord allows part payments.
  4. Look at the Convenience fees box. It shows the fee for each way to pay.
  5. Pick how to pay: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App or bank account.
  6. Tap Review payment. Check the rent, the fee and the Total charged.
  7. Tap Pay. You'll see "Payment received" (or "Payment submitted" for a bank payment) when it's done.

Tip: A bank account (ACH) usually costs less or nothing. Card fees are shown before you pay.

Heads up: Bank payments take 3 to 5 business days to clear. They count toward your balance right away. If your bank sends the money back, it's added back to what you owe.
