Approve changes to past payments
Voids, corrections and late fee waivers requested by your team wait on the Approvals page for the company owner to approve or reject.

To protect the books, some changes to money that's already recorded need the company owner's OK. When a manager asks for one of these, it waits on the Approvals page. When the owner does it, it happens right away.
What needs approval
- Void a payment: marking a payment void, bounced or a duplicate.
- Correct a payment: changing a payment's amount, date or months.
- Waive a late fee: when a manager ticks the waive option while recording a payment.
- Late fee no longer applies: PropFlow's nightly check found a late fee that a back-dated payment cancels.
Approve or reject a request
- Go to Accounting → Approvals. The tab shows a number when requests are waiting.
- Read each request: what kind it is, the reason given, What changes, and who asked and when.
- Click Approve to make the change now, or Reject to leave things as they are.
Decided requests show under Recently decided.
Questions
I'm a manager. Can I approve my own request?
No. Managers and accountants can see what's waiting, but only the company owner sees the Approve and Reject buttons.
I asked to void the same payment twice.
PropFlow only keeps one open request per payment. You'll see that a request is already waiting for the owner.
