Edit lease and notice wording
Change the text PropFlow fills in when you make a lease or a 7-day notice.
1 min read
PropFlow comes with built-in wording for a residential lease and a 7-day notice to pay or quit. You can use your own wording instead. Only the company owner can change it; others can view it.
- Go to Settings and click Edit wording on the Leases and notices card.
- Click Residential lease or 7-day notice to pay or quit.
- Type in the box under Edit. To start from PropFlow's version, click Start from built-in.
- Click Preview to see it filled in with sample details.
- Click Save wording.
New documents use your wording. Leases and notices already made keep the wording they had.
How the wording works
- {{field}} is filled in from PropFlow, like the tenant's name or rent. The full list of fields is next to the editor.
- # Heading makes a section heading. **bold** makes bold text.
- :: sig | Signature | Date adds signature lines. :: pagebreak starts a new page.
- :: if field … :: end shows text only when that field has a value.
Heads up: Have a lawyer check your lease wording. PropFlow fills in what you write; it doesn't check it against your state's law.
